Workshops

M Residency artists are able to use all the workshop studios at our partners. Availability and payment need to be arranged directly with workshop staff.

Fab Lab Reykjavík

Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a workshop with equipment and tools to make almost anything. The Fab Lab workshop gives young and old, individuals and companies, the opportunity to train their creativity and implement their ideas by designing, shaping and producing things with the help of digital technology.

The Icelandic Printmaker’s Association

The Icelandic Printmaker’s Association, now close to 100 members, was originally established in 1954 and now runs its own gallery and studio in the center of Reykjavik.

The Dansverkstæðið

Dansverkstæðið – work rooms for choreographers, was started in 2010 by a group of choreographers who wanted to improve the working conditions of dance artists. Dansverkstæðið rents out studios to performing artists of all kinds; dance, theatre, opera and circus. It is also possible to rent spaces for courses and workshops, meetings or events.

Textile Workshop

Korpúlfsstaðir

The studio has two large work tables, a kitchen with plenty of pots, hot plates, a good steam iron, steam, and more. There are also two deep sinks along with a smaller coffee sink, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator.

Reykjavik Sculpture Association

The workshops of the Sculpture Association of Reykjavik is divided into woodworkshop and metalworkshop. The woodworkshop is 200m².
For non fellows the fee fo the week is 20.000 ISK kr.
