I began this installation by questioning the subjective moment, my feeling of now, by noticing different sources that appeared in my immediate experience upon arriving in Reykjavik.

Trying to make sense of a moment that is in a constant flux and concept-less brought up the image of trying to make a hard shell around something soft and vulnerable.

I found that the sounds, images, objects I gathered had that same conflict in them, or in relation to each other.

The installation became my way of trying to make the shell more transparent.
