These images and video were part of my artistic research and documentation regarding hot streams. I found my interest was mostly about the multiple levels of transformation caused by geothermal activity, either caused naturally by the magma heating water in the bedrock or by human using these sources to heat or produce electricity.

On the location of one of these sources, I found a fabric that I then used as the representation of the transformations, added microphones to it and used it to cover the thermal source and record the sound coming from it. Later on, I used the same fabric to replay the recordings I made, accompanied with moldings of rocks from the springs.
