„Poems for the Seals“ is a project dedicated to the seals that live near the SÍM Residency.
During my stay at SÍM Residency, I visited the seals daily. The bay where they stay is one of the most peaceful places I have experienced.
I used a piece of fabric to collect traces of the sea and to let the stones „write“ ephemeral poems on it. Depending on the wind and rain the poem changed fluently, slowly vanished and evolved into a new one.
In addition, I drew several poems for the seals with watercolor and seawater.
