My research during SIM questions people's connection to the land and its links to sacred. Carl Sagan believed that, unless we can re-establish a sense of the sacred about the environment, our species would destroy it. The images insert themselves in Icelandic Landscape, a place of strong nature. It searches how human psyche relates to landscape in a quest for re-establishing lost spiritual human-nature bonds.
