During this month spent at SÌM, I focused my research on the landscape of Iceland. Throughout December I have captured images using a gopro camera, some of these images are stable and classic but other of these images are much more abstract and experimental both in their visuals and in the technique used to capture them. Another activity to which I devoted myself this month: the harvest of volcanic stones. Having recently found a way to melt this type of rocks to make glaze, I will therefore use them to produce ceramic pieces. Ultimately, all these elements collected during this residency will be used in the creation of an installation mixing video, ceramics and sculpture.
