My ongoing project „Inseln ohne Hafen“ (Islands without a harbour) revolves around young people from Generation Z. I meet with teenagers and young adults from Gen Z and take analogue photographs of them. I am interested in what concerns young people in these times of crisis, what dreams, hopes and fears they have. I want to explore the question of how I can approach them artistically and report on them in a poetic, visual form. During my stay at SÍM Residency I continued to work on this project and photographed young people and their surroundings in different places in Iceland.
