When a landscape is filmed, scanned into smaller, broken pieces, detached from the gorgeous scenery, losing their ability to change, something strange happens. Filming and scanning the winter world from an aerial perspective, I want to bring attention to hidden landscapes, to discover ice and snow structures that look like paintings, with human marks and symbols. The footage that I gathered during the SIM residency will become a part of the third piece of my film trilogy about the human changing relationship with nature.
