An open-ended drawing project utilising bits and pieces of drawings, photographs, writings and notebooks. I recombined these elements with found objects, clay and paper collected during my wanderings in Reykjavik and at SIM. The drawings investigate the intimate space of dreams, memory and imagination-in quick, notational form. The unique environment of Reykjavik in winter, with its dream-like darkness, was a place to focus and hone these fragments into an installation; to collaborate and create interactions. These seemingly disparate fragments or broken parts, become like a sort of hieroglyph, playfully rearranged to construct a new narrative.
