Fountain is a site and an object where liquids simultaneously occupy our reality and imagination. On many occasions it blurs the boundaries between the two. A design element, a holy site, a playground, an urban excess, a myth, an artwork, a living being – these are just a few iterations of a fountain. We can even say that discharging excess liquids puts everyone of us into the category of a fountain - one step closer to being a geyser or an erupting volcano.
