"Essences" is an attempt at rendering personal perceptions about a place/moment. By remixing photographic textures unearthed around Reykjavik and close-up photographs of some fellow residents into organic 3D shapes, I try to evoque my general impressions of this moment in time. Nothing is tangibly perceptible anymore, but maybe a feeling lingers and is communicated between I and the viewer.
