The continents and therefore the ground under our feet are permanently moving. In Iceland, I worked with the traces of this activity. How can I define myself and my human dimensions in relation to these global movements that have been going on for billions of years?

I stayed at SÍM in May 2018 and September 2021. I have worked with traces of volcanic activity on Reykjanes peninsula that occurred more than 800 years ago and are occurring right now.

'drift' is a series of works on the theme of continental drift that I have been working on since 2013. The works from this series were created in fieldwork in Iceland, in my studio, and in exhibitions, directly on the walls.
